As a Full Stack Javascript Developer at Redjack, you will be responsible for designing and developing a user interface that visualizes large complex datasets using a graph-node library. As an early member of our frontend team, you will have the opportunity to build the foundation of our new UI initiatives. We are seeking a kind, optimistic, and creative problem solver as we expand our Engineering department that's centered around co-creation.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with modern frontend frameworks and libraries like React, Angular, Typescript, etc.
  • Evangelize modern frontend development best practices and raise the bar for frontend development skills at Redjack
  • Explore new technologies that will benefit our workflow and share comprehensive opinions on architectural/technical decisions
  • Co-creating in pods of 3-5 team members developing a UI, while contributing to work culture and peer code reviews
  • Collaborate, communicate, and drive change across the Product Delivery department: Data Science, Customer Success, and Rust Engineering teams

Qualifications:

  • Javascript: Proven experience as a Javascript Developer with a thorough level of abilities, and a proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member
  • Web Development: Expertise in web development, with a strong understanding of web technologies and best practices such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, and web performance optimization.
  • Modern Libraries: Demonstrated ability to develop responsive and cross-browser compatible web applications, experience with modern Javascript libraries and frameworks (and knowing their pros/cons) such as React, Angular, Vue, and knowledge of web standards and accessibility guidelines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Passion for sharing ideas, bringing others along, caring for teammates, and attracting other great developers to join our growing organization
  • Ability and interest in identifying problems, proposing and selecting solutions, and executing them to increase efficiency
